Sophie Ross is the Student Support Coordinator at the Southeast Tasmania Study Hub, operated by Business and Employment Southeast Tasmania Inc. (BEST). In her role, Sophie provides personalised academic support to students, helping them navigate assignment requirements, assessment rubrics, feedback, and study resources. Her focus is on building confidence and connection, ensuring every student feels supported throughout their learning journey.

Sophie also plays a key role in helping students explore their future study options. She supports learners in identifying pathways into further education and builds connections with universities across Australia to help students access the right advice, opportunities, and support networks.

With a background in tertiary teaching and unit coordination, Sophie brings a strong understanding of the academic environment and the realities of student life. She’s here to help students access academic guidance, wellbeing support, and external services, and she’s always up for a cuppa and a chat when someone needs a friendly ear.
