Business and Employment Southeast Tasmania Inc (BEST) is a community-focused program offering free, adaptable, and personalised support across our four local council areas: Sorell, Tasman, Clarence City, and Glamorgan Spring Bay (Swansea South).
Our program aims to connect local residents with local employment opportunities while guiding individuals on their unique paths toward further education, training, or employment. We are committed to linking community members with essential services as needed.
At our Jobs Hub, we provide complimentary recruitment services to local employers, ensuring they find the perfect candidate to meet their needs.
Collaborating closely with businesses, training providers, and industry associations, our Employment and Training Hub strategically prepares individuals of all ages to meet the evolving demands of various industries.
Delivery model
Our delivery model spans across the four council areas of Clarence City, Sorell, Tasman, and Glamorgan Spring Bay.
While our Team is based at 11 Fitzroy Street in Sorell, we provide outreach services throughout the entire region, including the flexibility to meet individuals at community locations convenient to them, as well as onsite at businesses to gain deeper insights and understanding of their business and workplace.
